Product Warranty
In relation to Composite Doors, the Company offers the following guarantee:
– The door slab material and surface finish (with the exception of sprayed) are guaranteed for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery. If the product surface has a sprayed painted finish applied, it is guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery.
– Glazed units are guaranteed for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery.
– The operation and performance of door locks are guaranteed for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery.
– The operation and finish of door furniture is covered by a third party manufacturer backed warranty and full details will be provided upon request.
The above guarantee for Composite Doors is subject to the following conditions and exceptions.
All composite door slabs experience thermal movement. The door slab will recover to its original state, to a maximum of 1mm side to side and 3mm top to bottom, when the installation recommendations are applied. Composite Doors may require adjusting in their life span, due to weather conditions or frequent usage, to which we recommend speaking with the individual or organisation who fitted your door, to make the necessary adjustments.
Although informative installation instructions are provided, the Company expects fitters to have sufficient knowledge in door fitting to be able to competently fit a door correctly. Fitting includes plumb, square and accurate fixing, and general adjustment. A poorly fitted door can invalidate the warranty.
Occasionally, due to the nature of the product, minor imperfections and flaws may be evident. The Company deem minor chips, inclusions, and minor scratches (up to 10mm long) to be acceptable. Where this is found to be the case, at the Company’s discretion, the Company may provide touch up paint to make good. A warranty claim will not be accepted, and the Company will not replace goods for such minor defects.
The warranties detailed are given by the Company subject to the following conditions.
The warranty does not apply to:
– Failure caused by negligence, vandalism, wilful damage, extreme environmental conditions or excessive wear and tear.
– Goods being in any way altered or modified.
– Goods being incorrectly fitted.
– Goods which have not been maintained in accordance with the Company’s recommendations for cleaning and maintenance.
– Due to naturally occurring flaws and manufacturing methods of several of the glass ranges offered, minor imperfections, seeds, flaws, bubbles or similar, may be evident but are deemed to be acceptable and not liability will be accepted by the Company.
– Certain glass range, such as the triple glazed units, may be liable to ‘rattling’ or similar and no liability will be accepted by the Company.
– The ‘lead’ strip utilised in certain glass designs may be subject to oxidisation when exposed to the elements. As oxidisation is a naturally occurring effect, it is not considered a fault or flaw and the Company will accept no liability.
– It is strongly recommended that the Company’s maintenance procedure is followed. These instructions can be seen detailed in this document. If these guidelines are not followed, the warranty may not apply.
– You may be asked to provide proof that goods were correctly fitted, have not been tampered with and that they are correctly maintained as per the instructions supplied with the goods. The Company will determine in its absolute discretions (acting reasonably) whether the goods comply in this regard or not. Where proof cannot be provided, having reasonably been requested, the Company will accept no liability.
– Composite Doors are supplied ready finished and fit for purpose. Should you in any way attempt to alter the finish (including painting over the goods) the Company will not be responsible for re-finishing or repairing the goods and the warranty will be invalid.
If the Company accepts that an issue is covered by the warranty:
– The Company reserves the right to repair, rework or provide replacement parts/products (determined at the Company’s sole discretion) to rectify the problem.
– The Company shall not be responsible for the cost of labour or any other expensed incurred.
– Any goods repaired or replaced shall be guaranteed on these terms for the unexpired portion of the warranty period, relevant to the repaired or replaced goods.
The warranty is for the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Making a claim under warranty

– Your name and address as shown on the invoice, invoice number, order number, date of order, and date of delivery.
– Subject the email for the claim as follows; WARRANTY CLAIM / ‘FULL NAME’
– A detailed explanation of the faulty or defective competent.
– Attach images or preferably a video clearly demonstrating the issue.
Survey and Installation
The Company may provide you with the contact information to any of our recommended installers, and whether you wish to use one of the installers recommended by us, you accept that we are not liable for any incorrect measurements or improperly installed doors.
You agree that:
– All installers recommended by us are not employees of the Company, therefore, we take no responsibility and hold no accountability for their actions or workmanship.
– We will not be held liable for any incorrect measurements of doors nor improperly installed doors.
Where possible, we will exercise warranty on products (as detailed in this document) however, any issues with the door once fitted, caused by improper installation is not exercisable for warranty and we hold no accountability.
All the installers we may recommend have been questioned by the Company and reviewed for competency however, we cannot ensure they will carry out the installation correctly. The installers we recommend either operate as a limited company or a sole trader and are to be paid by you, the homeowner.
We, the Company do not provide installers with fixings and the equipment needed to fulfil an installation. The installers are expected to be equipped with the necessary tools to carry out a survey and complete an installation and the installers have complete power to determine the prices they charge and the flexibility of their payment terms, dependant on the job at hand, to which the Company have no say over.
Refund Policy
The Company reserves the right to cancel any order without prior notice. We will write and tell you about any cancellation within 10 days of us receiving the order. If we cancel any order, we will refund the order amount in full, but we will not owe any further compensation to you, in any form.
Once an order has been placed, the customer has no right to request a refund and will not receive any form of compensation, once the manufacturing process has begun.
All products are custom made, designed to your taste, and configured to fit the dimensions of your opening. We do not hold any stock of products.
In some cases, goods may be delivered with damage and if the damage aligns with our warranty terms (as detailed in this document), we may replace your order with no further charge.
In order to claim a refund for any damaged goods with the product itself, you must report this to the Company within 7 days of the delivery date, to which we will process a refund or fulfil a warranty claim accordingly.
If you wish to make a refund claim after 7 days from the delivery date, the Company will review the claim however, we cannot guarantee you a full refund.
All refund requests are subject to approval and review.
If you wish to make a refund claim after the door has been installed, this is subject to a physical assessment from a member of the Company or an allocated third party, hired by the Company to review the claim. Any cosmetic damage incurred to the door once it has been installed is not a reasonable claim for any form of refund and will not be fulfilled.
Payment
All goods ordered must be paid for in full prior to manufacturing. We will not commence the manufacturing process unless the value of the order has been paid for in full.
Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your card has been properly received.
Once you have configured your product and are happy to place an order, a member of the Company will contact you with the payment information and details, relevant to your order.
These Terms and Conditions are not periodically reviewed by the Company however, we aim to review our terms as frequent as possible. If you wish to raise concern or express any form of curiosity to anything outlined in this document, please do contact us.
